About Thomas Simonds

My background is primarily in general management and IT-related start-up companies. I started an Internet Service Provider (InterAccess) in 1993 and sold it in 2000, when it had 100 employees and $12M/year in revenues. I also started a failed digital signage company (Simage) in 2008, and a successful video gaming company (Morris Gaming) in 2010, which I sold in 2015.

At some point in my life, I received a BA from Yale and an MBA from Kellogg. They were sort of fun, and I met some cool people. Entrepreneurs don’t really need a formal education. You need customers, good employees, and good products and services. You need to learn from others, too, who have been there. I sincerely hope this book helps you succeed.

I personally don’t like to hire liars in my company and certainly do not advocate any process that rewards people who are good at lying.
